For Sadia Sanusi, fashion was more than a profession. It was an inheritance passed through generations, reimagined through her vision, and created to live beyond her.

A third-generation designer, Sadia inherited a rich tradition of craftsmanship that began with her grandmother and was passed on to her mother. Growing up around her mother’s sewing studio, she watched fabric become form and ideas come to life experiences that would shape the designer she became.

After earning a degree in Communication Design from KNUST, Sadia transformed this inherited craft into a language distinctly her own. In 2016, she founded Sadia Sanusi, building a fashion house celebrated for its contemporary interpretation of African craftsmanship.

From signature bespoke Kente couture to wedding gowns, reception dresses, occasion wear and ready-to-wear, Sadia’s creations have dressed brides and women across the world and graced international fashion spaces. Her work brought together heritage and modernity through sculpted silhouettes, intricate construction, hand-applied detailing and an uncompromising commitment to craftsmanship.

At its heart, Sadia Sanusi has always been about evolution. Sadia inherited a craft, gave it a new expression and built a carefully curated team around a shared creative vision.

Today, that team carries the vision forward.
